Searching through thousands of images from the past few years, Jake & Sienna’s maternity session at Side Cut Metropark in Maumee, OH stood out.
Every photo in their roll is soft, yet bold. The love and emotional energy between them pours out from each picture. Their interaction combines with the hazy fog, and the deep pine colors, to emit soft tones and powerful feelings. It was clear by spending just a morning with them that their love is intimate and strong.
When photographing family sessions, my job is so much more than photography. I need to be a relaxing presence, a director and a storyteller. I need to be someone who can make children and their parents laugh and feel comfortable. Vibe Garden Family is all about displaying who you are, so getting a sense of your family dynamic is also of paramount importance.
