Beach wedding photography and video at The Beach House on the shores of Hilton Head Island, SC

There’s something about draping Spanish moss that’s soft and romantic, especially when it’s catching light in the wind. Hilton Head Island, SC is covered in it, and it absolutely demanded our attention as we rode to Kassandra & Travis’s beach wedding at The Beach House Holiday Inn Resort. As soon as Kassie and Travis came in the picture, that changed.

Kassie and Travis are pretty much the perfect couple, and we had a blast leading their wedding photography and video. The way they truly enhance each other and push each other to achieve their goals is inspiring. All the while, they are having the time of their lives - and we made sure their wedding photos and video captured it.

Aesthetically, this wedding was absolutely beautiful. The bright whites with soft blush and hints of greenery mixed perfectly and each bridesmaid’s dress was a different shade of rose or lilac and a few had floral prints to pop - love love loveee. The weather also cooperated well. It was hot, but cloudy, creating bomb lighting any wedding photographer or videographer would be stoked on. Just before the ceremony, dark clouds looked to be looming on the horizon, but the next time we looked up, they were gone.

One of our favorite moments from this incredible Hilton Head Island wedding was at the very end of the night. Due to the wind on the beach, we recorded their vows for their wedding video afterward to ensure crisp audio. It was just us, and it was such a special moment. It was the end of their wedding, they were completely lost in love, giggling, bantering, and making us an emotional mess. Both their vows hit all the same points - their fur baby Princess, how they felt when they met in marketing class and the infamous dark chocolate peanut butter cups in their freezer. They are seriously the perfect match.

Because we were running both wedding photo and video, we hired an insanely talented duo out of Charleston (Deirdre and Jon) to second shoot. We had an absolute blast getting to know these two, and they added an extra dose of uplifting energy to the day.

Multiple people commented on how Kassie’s dream wedding actually came to life - and a dream it was. We were so glad to be apart of it and can't wait to watch these two grow old together.
