Oak Openings Metropark Engagement Photos in Whitehouse, Ohio
Picture this….
You’re at Keystone Ski Resort in Colorado on top of a mountain with the love of your life. You’re bundled up looking at the beautiful view. The next thing you know, there’s a ring at your knees. Sound perfect? Cameron’s proposal to Olivia sure was!
These two lovebirds met playing sand volleyball at the University of Toledo. They love to hike, play board games, and travel (just like us! Can you say ideal clients?). They are such an adventurous and outdoorsy couple! Originally, we planned to have their engagement photo session at Warren Dunes State Park, but they called and changed their minds to the intimate forest floors of Oak Openings Preserve Metropark in Whitehouse, Ohio to truly capture their love. We had no problem changing the scenery because if you haven’t noticed, we LOVE traveling to Toledo, Ohio. But most importantly, a location that reflects your relationship is always our aim here at Vibe Garden Images. We are adamant about capturing those true, genuine smiles. You know, the ones that make your heart explode? It all starts with the right setting, and the future bride and groom feeling comfortable and free.
When asked to describe Cameron in 5 words, Olivia said he was Fearless, Loving, Easy-Going, Handy, and Fun. Cameron said Olivia was Driven, Caring, Adventurous, Active, and Outgoing. We asked these two to fill out our couple’s questionnaire, then the adjectives they wrote were used to decide the poses for their session. Having them run through the woods to capture their adventure, getting them super close to capture their love, these are just a few examples of the way we personalize our sessions. It makes every photoshoot special and unique, just like our couples.

At this fall Oak Openings photoshoot with Saul and Paige, there was never a dull moment. During the entire session, we were laughing our booties off while exploring the colorful Toledo Metropark in Whitehouse, Ohio. On their first date, they went mudding with ATVs. (how fun?!) Afterward, they went to a friend’s house but as they were leaving, Saul’s car broke down.. and they had to push it back an entire mile. As they were pushing the car, they peaked the attention of a local police cruiser and were followed all the way back to their pal’s place. Paige ended up finding another ride home.
