Nestled in the heart of the farmland surrounding Elmore, Ohio lies Schedel Arboretum and Gardens. The moment we stepped foot on the premises, our jaws dropped. Acres of blooming greenery, bold flowers, and unique sculpture art cover the grounds, and it’s nearly impossible to find a spot that wouldn’t make an incredible backdrop for wedding photography and videography. We could seriously spend days shooting there and still find new, gorgeous spots for photos. It is 110% more than worth the trip!

It’s so exciting to do engagement photography sessions with a couple and then do their wedding photography 9 months later. A lot can change in those few months - for Kyleigh and Clay it was the size of their beautiful baby girl and the size of their love. Even on their wedding day, they put their child’s need above everything - and it really got us in the feels. And how they met? Clay basically saw her and pursued her until he won her heart. Northwest Ohio is full of versatile wedding venues including the Williams County Fairgrounds in Montpelier, Ohio. The ceremony was underneath a unique rustic bridge with a beautiful floral arch. Once the ceremony ended, everyone rode around on the party bus (SO MUCH FUN). We stopped at George Bible Park in Bryan, Ohio to take more wedding pictures. Then, we headed to the Gillette Building at the Williams County Fairgrounds for their reception.

Crystal came to us with a nightmare situation - her wedding photographer backed out. After taking a brief moment to freak out with her (it was seriously only a few weeks before the wedding!), we assured her we would make the trek, and make it work. Let me tell you - we made it freaking work! We couldn’t be happier with the results. The ceremony was serene, the church was well lit, and the weather was gorgeous - a picture perfect recipe for amazing wedding photography.
